On our way to the wedding, I looked at my car display with disbelief because it read 102 degrees. I immediately cranked up the AC to compensate for the heat I was about to endure later. The wedding and reception was to be held at a friend’s home in Lebanon. Pulling up, ideas were exploding in my head. The location had everything I had hoped for. There were open fields and trees and props, it was great. The thing I noticed the most as multiple people were flying around taking care of last minute duties was that everyone was happy. There was stress and sweat but there were all smiles. You can tell how good friends Nicole and Graham were because their friends were working joyously in the heat for them. When it was time for the first look, I could hear the excitement in Graham’s voice. As Nicole turned Graham around, the look on his face was unforgettable. Mouth open with a huge smile it was apparent that he thought Nicole couldn’t look more beautiful. He kept saying “Wow” over and over again. The location on the property for the ceremony itself was perfect. It was a little clearing surrounded by trees with some trails leading to the spot. My favorite shot, probably of all time was a long exposure shot in a field at night. After looking at one of the photos, I discovered that I caught a shooting star sliding across the sky. It was a perfect ending to their perfect day.
