Erika and Scott, NW Cultural Center, 1/14/11

What a fun wedding to kick my year off with! Oh how I adored Erika and Scott. She wore a green wedding dress and her "something blue" was died into her hair. They had their winter wedding at the NW Cultural Center. They braved the elements and we wandered around NW for some awesome urban backgrounds. I just LOVE how the color of her dress played off of the various backgrounds. I felt so honored to be a part of their special day! I felt so connected with them, I was fighting back the tears during their ceremony. The NW Cultural Center is an awesome venue with a lot of great shooting locations nearby!! It was a fabulous night!

Brittany & Jason @ The Governor Hotel January 15th, 2011

A winter themed wedding was Brittany's idea of a dream wedding and WOW did she ever get it. Everywhere you looked there were snowflakes.....on the centerpieces, on the guestbook table, on the bar, projected by lights on the ceiling...I can keep going. It was gorgeous! The couple also had plenty of entertainment for their friends and family, all 300 of them...a live band, a Fliptography photobooth and the best cake in town!

Congrats guys, it was a memorable night!

Venue Pearl 11-13-10 [Nicole & Shawn]

I really enjoyed getting to know Nicole and Shawn leading up to their wedding day; you could tell they were very much in love! The wedding day was about as perfect as it gets. We started at the beautiful Nine's Hotel and then over to Venue Pearl. After an intimate candle lit ceremony the couple and a few hundred of their closest friends and family danced the night away!

So... what do you get when you mix a perfect couple with amazing weather, a great family, a few decent photographers and 3-4 hours of dedicated shooting time?.... some really great images!

It is always fun to shoot another photographer's wedding because they understand what it takes to do the job right.
