Shannon + Chris {Puerto Vallarta, Mexico} 2/4/11

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico was the destination Shannon and Chris decided on for their destination wedding. They put many hours into researching and planning this event to make sure it was perfect. As the photographer, I can say it sure paid off. The Riu Vallarta Resort had a very elegant yet casual feel that fit their event perfectly! Above all this wedding was FUN! This crowd sure knows how to party. For me this event was a blast. Congrats guys!

Lucas and Emma, Arista Ballroom, 1/28/11

Lucas and Emma were a photographer's dream, gorgeous, easy-going, and totally in love. They were married at the Arista Ballroom in SE, and everything about this wedding was fabulous! The Arista is such a great place to have a winter wedding. Thanks to Emma and Lucas's patience with my lighting, we were able to get some pretty dramatic images. Thanks for a fabulous night guys!!!

Arielle and Leif, Body Vox, NW Portland, 1/22/11

I didn't find out until the ceremony that Arielle and Leif have been together since they were 15 years old. I was not surprised by this, as their love for each other is so grand and so apparent. Their love definitely radiated throughout all aspects of the event, from the ceremony being dimly lit to the 2.5 hour, 7 course meal. I truly enjoyed being a part of it!

Erika and Scott, NW Cultural Center, 1/14/11

What a fun wedding to kick my year off with! Oh how I adored Erika and Scott. She wore a green wedding dress and her "something blue" was died into her hair. They had their winter wedding at the NW Cultural Center. They braved the elements and we wandered around NW for some awesome urban backgrounds. I just LOVE how the color of her dress played off of the various backgrounds. I felt so honored to be a part of their special day! I felt so connected with them, I was fighting back the tears during their ceremony. The NW Cultural Center is an awesome venue with a lot of great shooting locations nearby!! It was a fabulous night!

Brittany & Jason @ The Governor Hotel January 15th, 2011

A winter themed wedding was Brittany's idea of a dream wedding and WOW did she ever get it. Everywhere you looked there were snowflakes.....on the centerpieces, on the guestbook table, on the bar, projected by lights on the ceiling...I can keep going. It was gorgeous! The couple also had plenty of entertainment for their friends and family, all 300 of them...a live band, a Fliptography photobooth and the best cake in town!

Congrats guys, it was a memorable night!
